BREIF ITINERARY

DAY 1 – Arrival in Guwahati. Transfer to Shillong.

DAY 2 – Shillong to Shnongpdeng via Laitlum Grand Canyon & Krang Suri Falls.

DAY 3 – Shnongpdeng to Cherrapunji via Mawlynnong Village.

DAY 4 – Trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.

DAY 5 – Cherrapunjee to Shillong via Nohkalikai & Wei Sawdong Falls Trek.

DAY 6 – Departure. Shillong to Guwahati

DAY 1

Arrival in Guwahati. Transfer to Shillong.

• Arrive at the Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station and meet our representative.
• You will then board your transfers to Shillong.
• Reach Shillong and check-in to your hotel.
• in the evening, you can visit the local market of Shillong for shopping, on your own. (If time

permits).

• Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Shillong. 

DAY 2

Shillong to Schnongpdeng via Laitlum Grand Canyon & Krang Suri Falls.

• Start your day early today and have your breakfast at the hotel.
• Get ready for the day and board your transfers to Shnonpdeng.
• On the way, we will take a short detour to the magnificent Laitlum Canyon.
• This Canyon was featured in the famous “Rock On 2” movie and is a perfect sight of green

rolling hills, and deep gorges backed with the dramatic sky.

• We will soak in the stunning views of the canyon and then head further to Jowai.
• We will also explore one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya – Krang Shuri in Jowai.
• You can spend some time admiring the cascading falls or just sit and relax by the blue water

pool below the falls.

• Next, we will continue our road journey to Shnonpdeng and reach there by evening.

DAY 3

Shnongpdeng to Cherrapunji via Mawiynnong Viiiage.

• Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast.
• You can then head out to indulge in some water activities in the Umgnot River.
• Later, we will hit the roads to Cherrapunji – the natural gem of Meghalaya.
• On the way, you will also visit Mawlynnong village – the cleanest village in Asia.
• We will walk around the village to understand the overall life and explore around.
• Upon reaching Cheraapunji by evening, check-in to the hotel.
• Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 4

Trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.

• Have breakfast in the morning and prepare for an adventurous day.
• Today, we will head to Tyrna village to start our trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root

Bridges.

• With the help of a local guide, we will begin our trek through the forest and pass a number of

bridges on the trail.

• Upon reaching the beautiful Double Decker Living Root Bridges, we will spend some time

exploring around and admiring this marvelous natural wonder.

• After spending enough time at the bridges we will have to hike up to 3000 steps to reach back to the base village.
• By evening, you will reach Tyrna village and then board your transfer back to Cherrapunji.
• Reach your hotel in Cherrapunji for an overnight stay.

DAY 5 

Cherrapunjee to Shillong via Nohkaiikai & Wei Sawdong Falls Trek.

• Have your breakfast in the morning and board your transfers to Shillong.
• Before leaving Cherrapunji, you will visit the viewpoint of the amazing Nohkalilaki Falls and listen to the heart-wrenching story of Ka Likai, a tribal lady who jumped from the cliff of these falls, thus leaving her name to these magnificent waterfalls.
• Further, we will also go for a short hike at Wei Sawdong Waterfalls, just 14 km away from

Nohkalikai Waterfalls.

• After hiking down the thrall through lush green forests, you will be greeted with the beautiful

sight of the 3-tired Wei-Sawdong Falls.

• After soaking in the views, we will embark on a 2 hours drive to Shillong.
• Reach Shillong for an overnight stay.

DAY 6

Departure. Shillong to Guwahati.

• Have your breakfast and the morning and get ready to board your transfers to Guwahati.
• En route, you will visit the Umiam Lake which is encircled by forest-covered Khasi hills.
• Later, you will enjoy a beautiful 3-4 hours drive to Guwahati.
• Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at the Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station for your

onward journey. (Your Flight should be after 2-3 pm)

• Bid Adieu to Meghalaya by taking a lot of memories to cherish.
